WeLocale offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated. Plan limits (websites, languages, strings, scans, translations) are defined on the pricing page.
Payments are processed by Paddle who acts as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a paid plan, you are transacting with Paddle and Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction. We do not store your card details.
Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period. You will receive an email reminder before each renewal. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard.
We will notify you at least 14 days in advance of any price change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
If a payment fails, Paddle will attempt to retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected after retries, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan or suspended. We will notify you by email before any suspension.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard - no phone call or email required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until that date.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. No refund is issued for the unused portion of a billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days.
If you start a free trial, we will notify you of the amount and date of the first charge before your trial ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial period without being charged.
You are responsible for your website content and any translations you publish through the widget. WeLocale provides the tooling; you decide what to translate and what visitors see. We process your content solely to provide the service.
Server-side crawling (Pro plans): If you enable crawling, you authorise WeLocale to automatically visit and download pages from the domains you have registered in your account, for the purpose of string discovery. You must ensure you have the right to grant this access for all domains you add.
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will not materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan during an active billing period without offering a pro-rated refund or alternative.
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing published translations.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WeLocale's total cumulative liability for any claims arising out of or related to these terms or the service will not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold WeLocale, its affiliates, and its personnel harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, they shall be referred to binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not available, to the competent courts of the jurisdiction of the service operator.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
